McLaren's plan to launch the 200-mph MP4 supercar in the United States and Canada in mid-2011 are on course, says the newly appointed boss of North American operations. Tony Joseph, McLaren's regional director for North America, says rumors that the North American launch of the MP4 is being delayed are untrue. “There is no validity in that story whatsoever,” he says.

The letter Q, of course, is the designation for the brand’s SUV line-up, which currently kicks-off with the Audi A3-based Q3. Monaco can often be a bit of a procession, with limited opportunities to pass, and the 2013 Monaco Grand Prix was no different. But it was so interspersed with accident and incident that it sidelined the boring bits to irrelevance and made for a cracking spectacle, a spectacle that ended, where it started, with Nico Rosberg taking a Mercedes win in his home Grand Prix.
